HotL- A Close Encounter
With winter's chill on the cusp of the land, the pack was preparing for lean days ahead. Hunting was of the utmost importance since most of the herds had moved south and the smaller critters rarely left the warmth of their dens. To make things worse, furless warriors were seen on the edges of the territories and sparked panic and concern among the wolves. In Salem, the most recent sighting of these two-legged killers was about three days earlier but the scent still clung to the air like black lake mud clinging to fur. It was....unpleasant.
